Table Objects

“Table Objects” is a study in form and an experiment in fostering ‘open’ human interactions. They are vessels and dishes, adapting to different uses depending on their context.

The table objects consist of a larger vessel, a small vessel, and a small dish. Each piece can stand alone in different contexts and is not limited to functioning as a set. Their forms are intentionally ambiguous, subtly suggesting different possibilities. The design aims to encourage users to discover their own uses and meanings for the objects.

The large vessel can serve as a water container, a vase, or a standalone sculpture.

The small vessel could serve as a sake jug, a container for soy sauce or vinegar, or a small vase.

The small dish can serving as a sauce dish, a measuring spoon, or a ring dish… Its elongated tip hints at precise pouring or a natural grip for fingers.
