Bloom Chair is an exploration of flexibility and spatial transformation in seating. Formed from a piece of wool felt wrapped around a steel frame, it shifts effortlessly between states—standing upright to create a private, enveloping retreat or folding down into an open, inviting lounge. “Bloom Chair” blurs the line between furniture and textile, inviting participation in shaping space and experience.

In its upright position, the chair offers a semi-private space—an enveloping retreat that defines a personal zone within shared environments. When folded down, the felt relaxes into an open, inviting lounge, softening the boundaries between user and surroundings.
Secured with discreet Velcro fasteners, the felt can be swiftly wrapped or released, enabling the chair to transform, fold down, or move with ease. This single, continuous piece of textile embodies material restraint while elevating the fold as a dynamic formal and spatial tool.
By blurring furniture and textile, Bloom Chair becomes an active participant in space—its soft, organic geometry reshaping both posture and environment. Users shape their own experience, unfolding or enclosing the chair to suit changing needs, moments, and moods.
